Madeira Beach Accommodations Are Near the Action

Welcome to the "Grouper Capital of the World"!

Madeira Beach, just two (2) miles long and a 'smile' wide, is a small, friendly, welcoming city.  And, almost all accommodations allow guests to walk to the beach, dining, shopping and water sports.

Madeira Beach has long been a community where fish and fishing was at the center of life.

  • The city, reflecting its past, continues to be home base to a thriving sports fishing community.

  • And, the remaining commercial fishing industry serves local restaurants almost exclusively...
To the great joy and delight of diners visiting from around the globe!

Shopping, Dining and Boating

The historic fishing community that was located at Johns Pass Village is now an interesting array of over 100 options for shopping, dining and water-related activities!

And boating-related activities based in the historic family-owned Hubbards' Marina give lots of choices.  How about deep sea fishing, or parasailing,  or gathering the wee pirates for a family pirate ship cruise?   Not you yet?    What about  a Dolphin or Sunset cruise?    I know we’d find one for you…  There really is something for everyone here!

Festivals

Through the year, various festivals and sporting events keep Madeira Beach guests amused, as they enjoy our (typically) 360 days of sunshine...

  • The city's longest running annual festival -- the Annual Johns Pass Village Seafood Festival -- offers fabulous grouper & seafood in October, surrounded by a festival of arts and crafts and family entertainment options.  If you are in the area, don’t miss this one!

  • Another long standing festival-of-fun -- John Levique Days -- hearkens back to the days when Florida was home to pirates.

A riotous festival with costumed pirates making fun -- on and off the water -- and a slew of games, treasure hunts and activities for families and kids of all ages -
keep folks coming back to this great festival.

And, of course, fireworks are de rigueur for the 4th of July here, as well as the Christmas boat parade... and annual sporting events, like the Madeira Beach Triathalon, bring folks back to see the action and enjoy the our beautiful, sugar sand beaches.

Location

Finally, Madeira Beach has a fabulous location.   It's close to everywhere you want to be...  So, Welcome to Madeira Beach and remember, you're on island time here!
