| The Bokeelia Tarpon Inn is located at the northern tip of Pine Island on the scenic Southern shore of Charlotte Harbor in Southwest Florida. We are just a short drive, or boat ride, to Fort Myers, Fort Myers Beach, Cape Coral, Boca Grande, Sanibel, Captiva, Naples, and the Gulf of Mexico. Originally the Poe-Johnson home, built in 1914, the Inn has been lovingly restored to retain the grace and comfort of the original home while providing today's amenities for our guests. We can arrange for deep sea charters, or a "flats boat" to fly-fish our numerous flats and mangrove islands. Or, take a kayak or canoe and explore Jug Creek and Back Bay. Play golf, take a bike ride, visit a Calusa "dig," or just enjoy the day reading or watching the world pass by our relaxing and comfortable balcony. Take a boat to Cayo Costa for a day of shelling and sunning, and stop for lunch at one of the many barrier island eateries. BUT, don't miss the sunset! |
